– Over the past few years, my brother has set us some challenges. it started off with the stroke association thames london bridges cycle ride. just over thirty miles long. like all cycle rides they are not meant to be a race. however, when there is a start line and finish line, it’s a race to me. more details on the this cycle ride can be found here.

The second challenge set was the london to brighton. now this is a very famous ride and thousands take part each year. this was clear when our start time was actually forty-five minutes from our booking. the ride that i took part in was in association with the british heart foundation. more details can be found here.

The third challenge was bigger and better, the oxford to cambridge cycle ride, again in association with the british heart foundation. a mere 87.5 miles. i completed this in 2006 in just under six hours. hopefully i will plan to do this in 2008 as it doesn’t clash with my race calendar. more details can be found here.

Finally, there was another challenge but i wasn’t able to take part due to it clashing with my racing. this was the action medical research london to paris cycle ride. now for 2008, i have entered for this ride. more details can be found here.
