Poly Trio and the Pexip Cloud Service

So you have a Poly Trio and you are looking to use the Poly Trio and the Pexip Cloud Service? Well luckily that is super simple. The device can register where you like. It can be on your SIP server on registered to the Pexip Cloud Service.

When you want to then invite it to a meeting, you just need to have that device registered on Microsoft Exchange and invite it to the meeting. You are then able to use Click to Join, One Button to Push, call it what you want, but just simply join a meeting with a single tap.

So the config required to register a line to the Pexip Cloud is below along with the Exchange settings. This is configured on Line 3 in my example below. Simply download this CFG file and upload it to the Trio via the Web interface.

Testing out the Config

To test out the config, you will see that the phone would be registered and no red x in the bottom right corner of the Line icon. Create a new meeting invite in Outlook and head to say My Meeting Video

Once logged in, then select Advanced Meeting Info and this will popular the body of the calendar invite with the joining details.

Populated Calendar Invite

Once the Trio Resource Mailbox received this invite, it will parse the 10digitID@vmr.vc and produce a Join Button on the Trio. And here it is below. Just click on the Join button and it joins the meeting.

And once that button is pressed, the meeting is called into.

Poly Trio dialling into the meeting

So that’s it, you now have a Poly Trio registered on Line 3 to the Pexip Cloud Service. If you create a Pexip meeting, it will scrape the invite and present a Join button. Any time it sees 10digits@vmr.vc it will dial it.
